Since I’m not headed back to school this month and I’m not sending someone off to school this month, I sure am glad there is Football to let me know Fall really is here and newness is on the horizon.
Planning this season’s tailgate menus has been a summer-long fun diversion, and I’m full of ideas for a schedule with new opponents and an extra game! And since I married a Notre Dame alum, there will be a few Notre Dame menus sprinkled in from time to time.
We are starting the season with a NOON kickoff which gives us a chance to celebrate with Brunch. Who doesn’t love Brunch? I’ve pulled out some of my favorite before-noon recipes that will fill your table with red, black, orange, and purple. We can celebrate the best of Southern produce shared across great states and toast in either team’s colors.
I hope you enjoy these ideas. Let me know what you cook up!
Goooooo DAWGS! ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️
Tomato Pie – Southern Living Style – And I think I will have tomatoes fresh from my vines just in time!
Everything Dip – Whether you find your blend at Trader Joe’s, Aldi, or make your own, it’s worth having this spice blend on hand. You can dip bagel chips or any veggies that sound great to you.
Strawberry Rosé Cocktail – This is called The Bayshore but it is perfect for any Georgia Fan brunch!
Peach Bellini with Purple Basil – I think all good Clemson Fans need this on their tailgate tables. You’re welcome.
